We want to help give new pets a headstart in their new home, even though the Arizona Humane Society refuses to refer new adoptees to most local veterinarians. The first few days are the most important time for a pet in a new household. We want to help you make your pet's transition as smooth as possible. Many pets still need boosters of immunizations, or to be rechecked from a recent surgery. Occasionally, a new pet develops an unexpected illness. We're here for you. Bring your paperwork and we will provide your pet with a complimentary physical examination and consultation* with our doctors and nurses! We will also run a complimentary intestinal parasite screen* and deworming* when you bring in a stool sample from your new friend. Should your new friend develop an illness, we will provide treatment up to $500*. Did you adopt a new friend from another adoption or rescue agency other than the Arizona Humane Society? We see those pets, too. Call our office for information on the adoption programs available for your new pet. * All examinations, intestinal parasite screens, treatments for illness must be performed within the first 10 days after adoption. Any treatments or testing after day 10 will be at customary fees. Adoption paperwork MUST be presented at the time of appointment. Appointment times are limited so call early to make sure you get the appointment you want. ** Routine wellness care and testing (other than intestinal parasite screening) is not included in the $500 for illness treatment. The physical exam, intestinal parasite screening and deworming fees count toward the $500 total. |
